Pendulum

Footwork. A pendulum is on 4 counts and has four weight changes. One foot steps forward, the other foot goes up and down in place, then the first foot steps back and the other foot goes up and down in place again. There is no crossing.

The pendulum can be done in place - or it can travel slightly sideways. When travelling sideways, legs and feet are always straight ahead of the body. One leg never crosses the other.
